i swear i'm not making it up...i will concede that i may be remembering it wrong. however, i will keep searching. i know it's not the '63 pilot as i've never seen that and it's not the reprehensible "to riverdale and back" reunion show.
oh, and mat...LOVE your new avatar!
and HTBC, i can't explain my archie fascination. i think it's more nostalgic than anything else. i can remember going to my great aunt's house in the smalltown of blakesburg, iowa and she'd pull out a stack of comics she kept for the grandkids. the stack consisted mainly of archie & super friends & the occasional "bible classic".

Is this the guy you are talking about (who played Jughead)?:
He did play Jughead, was on Happy Days, and was also in Looker!
If he is, then I think this is what you're looking for:

cheer up, charlie. just because you're not good at research (and obviously neither am i) doesn't mean anything. you've got other talents!
and just remember, you're special and unique....just like everyone else.

Sug-ah . . . eeurhg, hon-eh-hon-EH!
Oh I just loved that film, bought it on eBay - sadly it's on a non-compatible US tape.

As regards another subject on this episode, one of our mellifluous-voiced hosts was bemoaning the lack of decent Black Knight stories. There is the little-known black and white teaming with Captain Britain in Otherworld produced by Steve Parkhouse, Paul Neary and John Stokes for Marvel UK's Hulk Weekly. They were ginchy. The strip ran for a year or something, and should be collected.

mart i've always known about those CB/BK stories and would love to read them. i suppose the only way is to try and track down those hulk weekly comics. which isn't all that easy here in america. i did happen to find most of the captain britain weekly (alan davis & jamie delano) and snatched those up.

I asked Hulk Weekly editor Dez Skinn about it yesterday and he tells me he read the whole saga recently on something called BitTorrent - he's trying to find the link for me.
Otherwise, British cartoonist Lew Stringer says Panini are hoping to bring out a collection after the second Captain Britain weekly trade - perhaps 18 months.
