Word on the street says the Red Queen is Maddie Pryor. If so, how and why?

They could easily explain that by her involvement in X-Man with Nate Grey or she could be another clone of Jean's that (the former Mister now) Ms. Sinister unleashed to cause grief while her and Shaw played with Xavier in X-Men: Legacy.
Maybe it'll tie into X-Fernus with the Goblyn Queen.

We're confirmed.
Click here to see the hidden message and/or spoilers... Maddie's back. The astral S&M scene in #503 was very weird. Scott thought it was Emma, but it was really Maddy.

I haven't read it but did see the last page. How would Scott know it's Maddie and not Jean since Maddie is Jean's clone, wouldn't his first thought be Jean's back. I mean she does do that sort of thing a bit.

When I was a kid, I was friends with identical twins...Christopher and Stephen Angelos. As I grew to know them, they looked less and less like each other. It got to the point where I couldn't understand how people couldn't tell them apart. To me, since I was so close to them, they looked like two different people.

That's fair enough Brett. I haven't been around Identical twins enough for that insight. I always wondered that. I suppose it could have been her demeanour or the fact that her personal is more leather/ laytex s/m whereas Jeans is more cosmic fire that could wipe you from existance.
ya'know tiny things like that. lol.

Are identical twins the same as clones?
I think identical twins are easier to differentiate (ala Bryan Brothers fromtennis) than cloned people.
On another note:
I hate the art. It's too freaking much open mouth model crap for me... every page looks almost the same. Women are moreinterested in looking AT YOU than at the other characters in the book.
im overit.
and Scott has to be a retard. |

HONEY.... he settled with Emma didn't he?
Dammit i was really doing well with not making anti-emma comments.
But seriously, Shaw's hiring.... maybe we'll see a return of the true Queen and maybe she'll take Mr. Ruthless Fearless leader of mutants with her hmmmmmm....

Does Maddie know who Cable is, or did she 'die' before he came around?

I believe she knows if it's the same Maddie that appeared in X-Man.

I think they're adding S&M scenes to the comic so Greg Land can use more of his magazines to trace from.
This issue was slightly better than the past couple of issues, I still think it's very cutesy. I really liked Rise And Fall Of The Sh'iar Empire and they did wonders on Iron Fist, so what's going on?
Mike Carey did great things for the X-Men too (rogue leading a team, new villains, Iceman's powers amped up) , and it really seemed like they were moving towards a future, but now both titles are just sifting through the past and not coming out with anything at all interesting, whereas Ellis is working miracles on Astonishing.
I did really like some old New Mutants/X-Force members having a chat in a bar. These guys need their own title, I miss them. |
