This is the Saturday evening during Wizard World, the day before Chicago's Pride parade. CBQ will be recording at Brainstorm starting at 8pm, and we want as many of y'all as possible to join us to talk about how the convention is going. After the convention discussion, we'll be recording another episode of Pulp Book Nancy Boy Theater, and will need as many people as possible to join the cast.
Brainstorm Comics is at 1648 W. North Avenue in Chicago, and their phone number is (773) 384-8721. To get there from the convention center, jump on the blue line train headed towards the Loop, and get off at the DAMEN stop. Walk three blocks east and get ready for the magic!

Also, if anyone is into the urban vinyl toy hipster thing there is an opening on Friday night at Rotofugi toystore/gallery.

The closest I have to the cool vinyl toys are two Mighty Muggs (they are sooooo cute!) but I wanted to check out this opening (I suppose I should with two art history degrees). They are supposed to have some Frank Kozik stuff. And if this is a weekend of reckless spending, why not get some cool vinyl toys?
I mean heck, they is a section in Previews for this stuff!

Wixard World is giving me a Frank Cho Monkey Boy figure as part of my Anime Insider VIP package, and I don't have the slightest use for it. Do you want it? If so, I'll save it for you, instead of telling them to keep it.

As of right now I would say Brainstorm. I plan on going there. I'm not entirely sure if I'll be going to the con yet.
