I'm not quite sure yet, but it's looking pretty likely that I'll be there.

I'll be there! I'll have to get a camera before then, though, so I can post pictures. Here's an unusual meetup a friend snapped at San Diego last year:

That picture looks so...fantastic. It's so nerdy and cool.

So I won't be able to make it to SD Comic-Con this year. BOO! I'm starting a new job next week and can't get that much time off, so I had to decide between going to a friend's wedding in Chicago the previous weekend or Comic-Con.

So I will be in Chicago on the weekend of the 19th, but no geektastic convention for me this summer. I plan to go for sure next year, and want to get to Wizard World LA in the spring.

So have fun everyone that goes and think of me while you're there. And if you think about me in an inappropriate way, that's ok... I don't mind.

TOTALLY!

I have been paging this site, Newsarama, and others like a strung out junkie needing the comics gossip.

No kidding! And I know at least one queer had to be at the panel that announced the new gay superhero - and Stan Lee himself was there to acknowledge it?! Wow! We'll see what happens!

That is so cool! Kudos to Stan Lee! I'm impressed.

And why have I never heard of this Hero novel until now? Have I been under a rock? I think I need to pick this up.

SO many people this year. Strange as is sounds, I think the most crowded day was Preview Night.

I was getting sick of having to stop slow down for randoms even though I was late for a panel, rushing to an unexpected signing, or LOST my cell phone in a longbox.

Any convention w/ friends is hell without contact. They should make twitter devices. They are destined for events like SDCC.

Overall, I LITERALLY survived Comic-Con. San Diego is such a great city. This was my fourth year and it wasn't until this time that we walked around the city. Pizza places were sold out of pizza, Pinkberry was passing out samples, and there was a zombie walk on 4th/Avenue, amongst other things.

All you East Coast-ers should come to SDCC and vice versa. I SO wanna go to WWC some day. CBQ Forever!
