An intimate conversation with artist J.K. Woodwardep112_makers

What happens when stevieD gets liquored up and talks to J.K. Woodward, artist of IDW and Peter David's Fallen Angel? The inner nerd of both fellows comes out and we see how sad they truly are!

This episode was brought to you by whiskey...the great equalizer.

also, here are the pages from JK's upcoming book, "Belladonna", that we discussed.

Funny, when I think of J.K., this is my go-to:

I hate to put Steve under the bus, but when that man was talking about some Star Trek minutae, you barely had an idea what the shit he was talking about, did you?

I actually found this interview interesting and helpful. As a writer I often wonder how specific I should be in my script and the interview just confirmed exactly what I was doing. Be specific but give room for improvement when the artist has and idea! Thanks Stevie! Very Happy

The Artwork Illustrations are incredible.

Then again, the comic book version - vs. the Television Series ( Angel's last season episode.) Stuff gets lost in the translation... and it takes someone who knows how to write for both kinds of media, equally well.

love the paint job.

yeah...as per usual when i'm the one in charge of recording/editing...something went screwy. the audio is fine for brett & eviljeff, but you can barely hear me & eric. so, it's taking me some time to pick out the good bits that i can splice together & adjust the volume so that when you're intently listening to what eric's saying, you don't get your ears blown out when brett comments.

some good news tho...we'll be recording again tomorrow, so you'll have not one but TWO shows to look forward to in the coming week!

Amazing artist! Great interview! He's not too harsh on the eyes either.

Well done Stevie.
