This was a waste. I wanted them to be real with each other, not sappy and "One Live to Live" like.

What was this?

What did y'all think?

Very forgettable. Dark Reign The List - X-Men, and Uncanny #515 are much better reads this week. Should have just let Fraction write it, its been his story in the main book. Not Kyle & Yost's best work... not awful

I thought it was very anti climatic...almost an afterthought. I wanted to see some anger at least, this story has been playing out for over a year now, it should have been addressed in the main book. I love where Fraction is taking the book, but it's almost like he can't pace himself properly. The last few arcs have been huge build-ups and quick resolutions.

For it to have been spun into it's own special from middle scene in a crossover epic, it was way underwhelming. I waited a while to discuss it because I'm very much on Team Jean, in terms of Cyclps' lovelife. That said I did like that it showed the parallels between the 2 character's desicions. I'm surprised that it did go like that actually. One of the grips in the Scott/Jean relationship was that there was no drama or conflict once they truly were together. Now we have the perfect situation for drama and conflict. One that was built up for over a year I believe and it comes to a head with no real effects. The final chapter of Utopia had more game changing elements than this with part of the void remaining in Emma. Maybe this move her character along. I hope so.
