Whew…Pride Month…amiright!?!?

Eric, Jonathan, Jay, Jeremy, Justin, Tony and Dave

One of the events the CBQties attended was the fabulous 2nd Annual Chicago Comics Queer Comicspalooza! There was queer creators, queer fans, and PBR for days! We learned, we loved, we laughed, we passed out on the floor. Well, while we all recoup from that experience (and I know you could use it you naughty-naughty), why don’t you listen to the interviews we conducted with this year’s CCQC panel: Justin Hall, editor of the brand new anthology No Straight Lines: 4 Decades of Queer Comics; Tony Breed, creator of the always cute, sometimes sassy Charlie & Finn Are Hitched; Jay Fuller, who writes/draws the adorable The Boy in Pink Earmuffs; Jeremy Sorese, producer of finely crafted In The Parlor Room; Jonathan Bell Wolfe, generator of zine dream Tread Lightly; and Eric Johnson…no, not THAT one, but the producer of Radioactive Panda and Stone Clouds! *whew…so many links!*

My preciousssssssssssssssss!!!!!!

Well now I have about seven titles to add to my wishlist and interest pool. Really fun show good to know about some of these things. I checked out Radioactive Panda first and I love the detail and style of it. Werewolf was fun and great too. I’ll be interested to see where this new series goes.

Thanks so much for interviewing these people and finding these great new works.

As an aside you guys are great to cook to so I made a loaf of bread in your honor ^.^
